MEET THE TEAM

Meet Liesel Manchester, the owner, and founder of True Beauty. Her journey began at the bus stop in 6th grade in rural Vermont when she told her mother she wanted to be a hairdresser. Liesel couldn’t wait to get into cosmetology school, and attended Blaine beauty school just outside of Boston MA, graduating top of her class in 2005. She quickly discovered a cosmetology license wasn’t going to be enough, so she went back to school for her Nail Technician license.

Liesel worked in the field just learning, gaining experience, and building a client-mily (all her clients become family). With time, she became bored with her days, and so began training to become an educator for Paul Mitchell.  Then she became an educator for Klix Hair Extensions, and eventually, a Cosmetology instructor at a public Tech Center, all while still working with her client-milys. Over the years Liesel’s thirst for education has served her well, acquiring certifications in many branches of the beauty industry and eventually led to the Associates in Science, concentrating in Business and workplace culture.
